Woodward Color Run!

We’re excited to share that the annual Color Run is right around the corner! This much-loved event brings our students together to celebrate their efforts with a colorful, high-energy run—all while raising funds for Woodward SOS.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Woodward families, we’ve already raised over $5,000 toward supporting our school! These funds enable SOS to offer curriculum enrichment, field trips, teacher and staff appreciation, classroom grants, school-wide gifts, student celebrations, and many other benefits. Help us reach our goal of $20,00!

After the Bell With Ms. Goode
Have nothing to do on the upcoming half days for parent-teacher conferences? Looking for some fun games with classmates?
Sign up for After the Bell with Ms. Goode! A permission slip is being sent home today. If you would like your student to participate, please complete the permission slip/ registration along with payment and return it to Woodward by 3:00 pm on Friday, October 3rd. If more students return the registration and provide payment than the number of spots allows, we will hold a lottery, and families will be contacted accordingly.
A waitlist will be maintained in case family plans change.

Join the Woodward School Council

I’d like to invite you to consider joining the Woodward School Council. Our council plays a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment for students, and we’re seeking new members this year.

Serving on the council provides an opportunity to collaborate with other parents, staff, and me to shape decisions that impact both our students and the school community as a whole. From strengthening programs and events to refining school practices, your voice truly makes a difference.

No special background is required—just a willingness to be engaged and support our school. The council meets four times a year, and we encourage any interested parent or guardian to get involved. If interest exceeds the number of available spots, our SOS will hold an election. Please reach out if you are interested! smucci@nsboro.k12.ma.us

Bus Safety Reminder
We kindly request that you take a few minutes to review bus expectations with your child at home. Please remind them of the following:
  • Stay seated while the bus is in motion.
  • Please refrain from switching seats during the ride.
  • Use a respectful voice level.
  • Keep aisles clear at all times for safety.
When families and school work together, we can help make the bus a safe and positive space for everyone. Thank you for your support in reinforcing these important reminders.
