Principal's Message

Please remember to complete your CORI / SORI in the main office if you plan on volunteering for ANY activity at Woodward this year. A completed CORI is good for 2 years and is transferable between Southborough schools.

Dear Students and Families,

What a wonderful start to the school year! Walking through the halls this week, I’ve been so impressed by how quickly students have embraced their routines and jumped back into learning. From the laughter and games at recess to the focused effort in classrooms, the positive energy is everywhere.

Our teachers have worked hard to create welcoming spaces where students feel comfortable, curious, and ready to learn. Whether tackling new math ideas, exploring books, or teaming up with classmates, it’s inspiring to see such enthusiasm all around.

A special thank you to parents and families for your support during this transition back to school. Your partnership makes a tremendous difference, and together we can help every child grow and thrive this year.

Here’s to an exciting year ahead—we’re off to a great start!

Welcome Back Picnic

On Friday, September 5th, the Woodward SOS hosted our annual Welcome Back Picnic, and it was a wonderful way to kick off the school year! Families gathered to reconnect, and students had a blast catching up with friends, playing on the playground, and enjoying face painting. The pizza and pastry truck was especially popular with both kids and adults. A big thank you to the SOS for organizing such a fun community event—we’re already looking forward to next year!

Reminders from the Main Office

School Forms
We know that the start of the year is a busy time, but please try your best to return school forms to your child's teachers as quickly as possible, especially the Student Dismissal Plan- blue sheet. Having updated information will ensure a smooth transition for your child.  As always, we are here to help, so if you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher or the main office.

Please also remember to complete the PowerSchool Returning electronic forms that were sent earlier this month.

Changes in Dismissal
The school day ends at 3:10. Students will be directed to their designated dismissal areas.  If you are picking up a student before the end of the day, please come into the office, advise of the dismissal, and sign your child out.  If changing the afternoon dismissal, please do so by 2:00 P.M. by calling the main office.

Please feel free to contact our amazing office staff should you have any questions.
